Cellulite smoothing procedures

There are two main cellulite smoothing procedures that had been shown to have some effect and that are available at Bella Vou.  The first is endermology.  Endermology is a physical process where a specialised roller and suction device is passed over the affected areas, massaging the tissues.  The suction and rolling of the tissue helps break down the connective tissue strands, and the massaging motion helps lymph and fluid drainage. Endermology work slowly and provided it is combined with diet and exercise, improvements can be seen after 10 to 15 sessions.

Building on the success of endermology, a new process has been developed that is based on endermology but has some additional functions. The Vela Shape machine uses suction, rollers and massage - but in addition uses infrared heating and radio frequency current tightening - both of which helped tighten the tissue and get a far quicker result.  As such, we use 4 to 5 sessions of the Vella shape machine as the standard course.
